ABOUT i

I am not sure what this section is suppose to be about, but I am thinking it will be one of those evolving pages where I can present a bit about ideas and i.

I have realized that a lot of my favourite things in life as well as the words I associate with myself starts with the letter i. Ideas being the umbrella capturing most of them and I being me, the creator, finder & sharer of ideas.

Inconsistent. Imaginary. Idealistic. Igniter. Intellect. Interested in infinity. Improving. Inventor. Internet. iTunes. ifashion. Irrelevant. Impatient. India. Inventions. Information. Infuse. Inspiration. Isreal. Ipod. Irregular.

I grew up on an apple farm in an area called the Langkloof in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. I went to a primary school with less than a 100 people. I played a lot of tennis at school in Bloemfontein. I learned how to speak Spanish in Spain at the Universidad de Salamanca. I did a lot of random work in London. I partied a lot in London. I shopped a lot in London. I traveled Europe. I studied Business Science Finance and Marketing at the University of Cape Town. I traveled the east coast of South Africa. I did my honours thesis on Cause-Related Marketing at the bottom of the South African Pyramid. I did a whole bunch of internships within the Marketing industry. I started working at a company iKineo – a Strategic Customer Relationship Marketing and New media generation firm. I learned the hard way about running a small business at Blues Restaurant in Camps Bay. I got pulled into a project that changed my life – the launch of Glaceau Vitaminwater in South Africa. I met the global PAC director and found my rolemodel :). I moved to JHB and met a valuable mentor for life at The Creative Counsel. I changed the LiquidChefs Brand – my first facelift. I started a concept I have dreamed about for 2 years – Bridging online and offline social media, MiWORLD (www.mi-world.co.za) . I went from bars to banks, and now find myself immersed in the financial industry. Strangely enough, i love the inner workings of the bank and an internal digital investigation is proving to be most illuminating.I enjoy business. I love anything digital. I am addicted to searching the Internet. I understand technology. I do projects. I live for fashion.

I have done a lot, and I have not even started yet. I am a young entrepreneur with a contradicting variety of interests, opinions, passions and thoughts. I love to Imagine. I strive to evolve. I need to think. I wish I was normal. I embrace being different. I infuse energy. I feel. I like pretty things, especially clothes.

Welcome to my Ideas page. Welcome to my upside down, inside out, all round crazy thoughts. I have always wanted to snap my fingers and have every single brilliant thought captured, categorized and collaborated. This is not exactly snapping my fingers, but until I figure out how to achieve that and invent the worlds first “snap store” this is the space I will use to store it all!
